Archaeological Field Technician

Occasionally, SHiP is contracted to conduct archaeological surveys and other paid project opportunities. As a result, SHiP keeps a call list of  archaeological field technicians that they can contact to work on these projects. If you are interested in being added to the call list, submit a curriculum vitae (CV) or Resume and a cover letter to historicakron@gmail.com. Your cover letter should include your general availability. You will receive either a phone call or email acceptance/rejection within three weeks of application. Accepted applications are not a guarantee that there are active projects or paid opportunities at the time of acceptance. If accepted, you will be required to sign an independent contractor agreement and W-9. Projects may be up to 2 hours by car, one way. Mileage compensation may be included in some projects, depending on the commute distance.
